Das, was Manticora hier verzapfen, klingt mitnichten nach Blind Guardian oder Nevermore, wie die Promotion-Info seltsamerweise behauptet. Vielmehr würde ich von „Power-Metal-Raping-Modern-Prog-Thrash“ sprechen. Und ja, das klingt so chaotisch, zerfahren, kopflastig-technisch, unausgegoren und letztlich misslungen, wie diese Bezeichnung suggeriert.
Das an und für sich jammernde Gejaule von Lars Larsen klingt immerhin menschlich, und stellt somit den am wenigsten nervenden Bestandteil dieses Roboter-Metals dar.
Brutal, und sicher nicht im positiven Sinne.
